Try it: Plan a product launch

  1. Use the launch template and rename the central topic.
  2. Edit the marketing, engineering and support branches to match your work.
  3. Add one concrete task to each branch and export a snapshot for discussion.

Branches organise ideas visually. They do not create tracked tasks or enforce dependencies.

About Mind Map Maker

Mind maps work when thinking is faster than typing, which means the interaction has to keep up with you.

Start with a launch-planning template and arrange connected ideas on the canvas.

How Mind Map Maker works in your browser

Add shapes from the palette, edit their labels and connect ideas using the canvas controls.

Arrange new branches manually and choose their colours in the inspector. Automatic radial layout and Tab/Enter branching are not available.

Export SVG or PNG to share the map. Save JSON for later editing; text-outline export is not available.

When to use it

  • Brainstorming before any structure exists.
  • Breaking a large piece of work into parts.
  • Taking notes in a session where ideas arrive faster than sentences.
  • Planning the structure of a document or a talk.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to place each node?

The template is pre-arranged, but additional nodes are placed manually. Automatic radial layout and keyboard child/sibling creation are not supported.

How do I keep branches distinguishable?

Choose node and connector colours in the inspector. Colours are not automatically assigned to new branches.

Can I get the content out as text?

There is no plain-text outline export. Use SVG or PNG for sharing and JSON to preserve the editable diagram.
