Delete PDF Pages
Remove the pages you do not need.
About Delete PDF Pages
Select pages by clicking thumbnails or by typing a range such as 2, 5-9, 12 and remove them. Everything else in the document — fonts, links, form fields — is left exactly as it was.
Removing pages is the most common redaction there is — not blacking out words, but taking out whole pages that the recipient has no business seeing.

How Delete PDF Pages works in your browser
The pages you keep are copied into a new document with pdf-lib; the ones you removed are simply never copied. This is the important difference from a viewer that hides pages or a print-to-PDF that skips them — the removed pages are not present in the output file in any form.
That distinction matters for anything sensitive. A page hidden by an annotation or covered by a black rectangle is still in the file and can be recovered in seconds. A page that was not copied cannot be recovered, because there is nothing to recover.
Typed ranges and thumbnail selection edit the same list, so you can type 5-9 and then click one more page rather than working out the range arithmetic yourself.
When to use it
Stripping a pricing annex or internal cover sheet before a document leaves the company. Removing blank pages a scanner inserted between double-sided sheets. Sending only the relevant pages of a long statement or contract. Deleting pages containing other people’s personal data before sharing a document you are entitled to share.
Frequently asked questions
How do I remove a lot of pages quickly?
Type a range such as 2, 5-9, 12 rather than clicking each thumbnail. Both methods can be mixed in one pass.
Is the rest of the document affected?
No. Fonts, links, form fields and annotations on the remaining pages are left exactly as they were — only the selected pages are removed.
Can I get the deleted pages back?
Not from the new file, which is why the original is never modified. Keep it until you have checked the result.
