Extract PDF Pages

Pull selected pages out into a new PDF.

About Extract PDF Pages

Choose the pages you want to keep and export them as a brand-new PDF, either as one document or as a separate file per page. The original is never modified.

Extracting is the positive form of deleting: instead of saying what to remove, you say what to keep. For a long document where you want three pages, that is far less work.

Export the selection as one document, or as a separate file per page.

  • Processed on your deviceEverything you open or type here is handled by this page and never uploaded anywhere.
  • No queue, no limitsNothing waits on a server, so the only limit is your own hardware.
  • No account neededNo sign-up and no email address required.

How Extract PDF Pages works in your browser

The selected pages are copied into a new document with pdf-lib and saved. Exporting one file per page runs the same operation once per selection, producing a numbered set.

Copying preserves everything on the page — selectable text, vector graphics, embedded fonts, image resolution. An extracted page is not a screenshot or a re-print of the original; it is the original page in a new container.

What does not follow a page out of its document is anything defined at document level. A bookmark pointing to a page you did not take, or a form field belonging to a form you split up, has nothing left to refer to. The page itself is unchanged.

When to use it

  • Pulling the two pages an application actually asked for out of a twelve-page statement.
  • Separating one invoice from a batch that was scanned as a single document.
  • Taking a single chart or table out of a report to circulate on its own.
  • Splitting a multi-document scan into one file per document.

Frequently asked questions

Is my original PDF changed?

Never. Extraction builds a brand-new document from the pages you chose and leaves the file you opened untouched.

Can I get each page as its own file?

Yes. Export the selection as one combined document or as a separate PDF per page, depending on what you need.

How is this different from splitting?

Splitting divides the whole document at break points. Extracting keeps only the pages you pick and discards the rest.
