About Case Converter
Convert text to UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and more, as you type. Useful for headings pasted in the wrong case and for turning a label into an identifier.
Text arrives in the wrong case constantly — a heading pasted in from a spreadsheet that shouts, a column exported in block capitals, a label that has to become a variable name.
Twelve styles, applied as you type, on text that stays in your browser. The output can be pushed back into the input, so conversions can be chained when one pass is not enough.

How Case Converter works in your browser
Title Case follows the convention publishers actually use rather than capitalising indiscriminately: short articles, conjunctions and prepositions stay lowercase unless they open or close the line or follow a colon. "The Cost of a Good Name" is a title; "The Cost Of A Good Name" is the thing a naive converter produces.
Sentence case capitalises after a full stop, a question mark, an exclamation mark or a line break, and restores the standalone pronoun "I", which is the one omission a reader spots immediately. It will lowercase an acronym mid-sentence — distinguishing "US" from "us" needs to understand the sentence, and pretending otherwise would corrupt text silently.
The programming styles all split on the same boundaries: existing separators, plus the lowercase-to-uppercase transition inside an identifier that is already camelCase. That is what lets "customerOrderRef", "Customer Order Ref" and "customer-order-ref" all convert cleanly into each other. Line structure is preserved throughout, so a list stays a list.
When to use it
Fixing a heading or a name field that came back in block capitals. Turning a column of labels into database or API identifiers. Applying a house style to titles across a document. Normalising inconsistently capitalised data before importing it.
Frequently asked questions
Is Title Case just capitalising every word?
Not here. Short articles, conjunctions and prepositions — a, of, the, and, in — are left lowercase unless they open or close the title, which is what style guides actually ask for. Capitalising every word is what a naive converter does.
Does Sentence case understand abbreviations?
Partly. It capitalises after a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark, and it leaves the standalone pronoun "I" alone. It will lowercase an acronym in the middle of a sentence, so check anything technical.
Why are camelCase and snake_case here?
Because the everyday version of this job is turning "Customer Order Ref" into an identifier. All the programming conventions split on the same word boundaries, so one input can produce any of them.
